Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to actively engage as board members providing immediate impact to the Nonprofit/Social Impact (NP/SI) organization they serve because of their:

  • working knowledge of the breadth of Board responsibilities

  • familiarity of operating documents and tools

  • understanding of operational, programmatic, and funding expectations

  • use of their expertise and experience to increase the capacity of the organization to deliver their mission

  • understanding of how to assess an NP/SI's effectiveness in delivering their mission to maximize corporate philanthropic efforts
